Truth, she is wooden, and there is an awful lot of rear end showcasing in this FD. Sigh. This was a very underwheming competition. When I heard Tarasova over hyping them, I should have understood. It was an absolute waste of time to get up for this.

The comments in my mind are giving, R/A are looking pretty good, and they have two very decent programs. They could be top 5. Let's make it to the GPF to draw more serious conclusions.

I have only one gripe with K/N: Krylova makes their choreography much too fussy; she needs to declutter just a smidge. As per S/B, Michael Jackson was where? Bukin cannot let loose; his job is to keep Stepanova on her feet. Her skating is disruptive. It's getting a tad lame.

Yeah. It looks like the judges are liking R/A and Zin/Kol much more than Lala, Car/Pom, and Gui/Fab. I can't blame them regarding Car/Pom; this season's programs, in comparison to those shown two seasons ago, are not as sophisticated and polished. But it's really hard to do with the RD theme...

Its rather cringy to see the Russian Fed consistently propping up Stepanova and Bukin. Stepanova is a pretty girl, but this is taking things a tad too far, IMHO.

Their trump card is Vadym; she complements him well. Car/Pom have to objectively be head and shoulders above them.

They did good. And other point of note; the judges favour the Lithuanians over the Italians. They are toast.
