OMG, what a BUSY day for us true crime fans! 😪 A Los Angeles County judge has denied the Menendez brothers’ request for a new trial. The Los Angeles District Attorney has given this press conference in reaction to the judge’s ruling. Donna Adelson is now requesting a new trial. 😐

Here’s the video of Robinson’s court appearance. Robinson attended virtually and does not currently have an attorney.

The defense can try for it can they? This was a federal case, but Ted Kaczynski (The Unabomber) got to pled guilty for consecutive life sentences. And he killed people in several bombings and terrorized the entire U.S. for a couple of decades.

I don’t think so. But the evidence that this District Attorney is presenting so far is pretty damning, unless Robinson’s defense attorneys can get some of it thrown out. Or…….maybe there will be a plea deal to avoid the death penalty and get life without parole.

Thank you for your help. I was having a hard time taking notes of all this. Count 1 of aggravated murder is a capital offense. Counts 1 & 2 have two aggravating factors: 1) The motivation was political in nature, and 2) The crime was done in the presence of children.

Utah vs. Robinson: The Utah County DA is holding a press conference ahead of Robinson’s arraignment hearing for murder charges of Charlie Kirk.

New York v. Luigi Mangione: The judge has dismissed two terrorism charges. Mangione still has the second-degree murder charges of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
