Really telling that the team sent to secure the 3rd spot in Beijing doesn't even have the Worlds CTES mins yet but a brand new team like Liu/Bedard already have them. 🤔
Who knows why Starr continues to get all of these assignments despite not doing much in terms of results and Josephine has not exactly set the world on fire internationally either.
I think the resentment of the Shibs is less about them and more that no one trusts the USFS to not have to some kind of sleazy deal in place to put the Shibs on the Olympic team over more deserving teams who skate better then them at Nats.
No country needed a comeback in Ice Dance from a former team any less then the US with all of the depth they have i really don't know why they are doing this. They aren't going to medal and they've been to two Olympics already. If they were serious they would have come back last season like V/M did.
Suddenly with just one race the record that seemed almost impossible to break is now in Sydney's sight. Wow greatest women's 400m race ever. Heck one of the best races period.
Kelce is washed he should have called it quits after last year. He's done everything he can in football but it's obvious he can't even make the plays he used to make in his sleep. Now he can't even catch the ball it happens age gets us all at some point.
Normally i roll my eyes when people use the word GOAT for anything or anyone that doesn't deserve it but Ryan is without a doubt the greatest shot putter in history. Dude was injured heading into Paris too at the Olympics and still dominated and won with his first throw. I just wish people would...
I think the Russians are just jealous that their Ice Dance dynasty ended after 2006 and they haven't been all that relevant in Ice Dance since then except for a few medals here and there but nothing like the 80's 0r 90's. It must kill them to see North America be where the power in Ice Dance has...
I just hope their isn't some underhanded deal that the Shibs barring a disaster are guaranteed a spot on the Olympic team and don't need to compete more they have too.
How is USFS going to justify sending S/N to the Olympic qualifier if they lose here to C/H? If all things are equal between these teams i think i would take C/H just for having more experience in big competions.
I just wish Sophie would scale back the jumps in her LP and get a few clean skates under her belt. Maybe at least take out one of the 3 axels and just do a 2a she's skating in Juniors and doesn't need all of those C elements unless she's facing Shimada.
I'm just curious by why has Lucius Kazanecki has not been on the JGP since 2022. He won US Juniors in 2024 so i would have thought he would have gotten a chance at one JGP at least in 2024.
