Let's be honest all of the US Men not named Ilia have been mediocre so just go with the top 3 we are splitting hairs on who has had the better year it's not one of them one a GP gold medal or made the GPF.
Alysa got hosed out of a team medal last time despite easily being the best US woman that season going into Nationals a defending World and GPF champion should not be left out of the team competition.
Hopefully Patrick will move up to Seniors next year and not just at Nationals but internationally he's a raw talent who just needs to harness it and get the coaching he needs and he will be a force by 2030.
If only K/F had stuck together for this whole Olympic cycle the US would be almost guaranteed the Gold medal in the team competition with them as the Pairs team. I feel like they were just starting to hit their peak and had so much more to accomplish.
This always happens i wait for weeks for US Nationals then suddenly it's like holy shit it's Nationals week but with it being an Olympic year and the competition beginning at the start of the month because of the Olympics i feel like i'm not ready for this. 😟
