    Best exhibition ever?

No... the video I want to see is B&S skating to Meditation From Thais at the Sale & Pelletier Olympic Homecoming event that took place about a month later from the 2002 Olympics. But thank you for sharing the link to B&S' The Kid exhibition.

    Best exhibition ever?

I love Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze's "The Kid" peformance at the SLC Olympics exhibitions; that throw triple salchow was a great one. After the pairs competition fiasco, hearing the crowd cheer laudly for Elena & Anton at the end always puts a smile on my face. I've never seen it so if someone...

From Russia with Love [#35]: Winter 2019

Those jealousy feelings among her teams... I remember another Moskvina interview where she talked about this. She said Oksana Kazakova was always jealous about Elena Berezhnaya, to the point of crying during practices, accusing Moskvina of considering B&S as her "favorites".

    Figure Skating Videos vs Youtube

3Axel1996 YouTube channel is gone. Anyone knows what happened? it was a great source of skating videos from the 80's & 90's. Big loss for fans of that era :(.

Interview with K. Witt: “You don't talk about the pain” by Anja Maier and Katrin Gottschalk

Thank you for the translation. Katarina Witt is my favorite female figure skater (along with M. Kwan). It's always good to hear from her :).

What are your favorite figure skating books?

I'm another fan of "The Second Mark". The book takes an in-depth look at the skaters (and coaches) who were part of the 2002 winter olympics figure skating fiasco. I found the first part of the book, about the skaters lives, much more interesting than the SLC scandal second part. Even with its...

What Program Have You Rewatched the Most?

For me that would be Mishkutenok & Dmitriev's Liebestraum from the '92 Olympics. I have seen that performance so many times! I love it for so many reasons; from the choreography and costumes, to the individual qualities both Natalia & Artur bring to the program: his strength and presence, and...

Eteri Tutberidze TV interview with V. Posner @ Russia-1

I'll take those 19 minutes. Please post it.

Eteri Tutberidze’s message: past year, parents, skating.

She thinks Brian Boitano and Berezhnaya & Sikharuidze are the best in their disciplines. Very good choices Mrs. Tutberidze :).

    Most Controversial Judging Decisions Ever

Scott Hamilton and his "Passion vs. Perfection". G&G where everything but perfect that night. Every time I watch M&D's Rach 2 LP, I have to stop before the marks; I just can't stand watching the disappointment in their faces. Terrible judging. And, to make matters worse, two judges put them in...

    Figure Skating Videos vs Youtube

I'm not a fan of modern-day figure skating, so Youtube is a fantastic way for me to see all those old performances from the 90's and early 00's. One of my favorites was a video of M&D's Liebestraum performance at the 92 Olympics. The fact that it had no commentary made it very special. Now the...

    Most Controversial Judging Decisions Ever

G&G winning the 1990 Worlds. This title should have gone to Mishkutenok & Dmitriev. I know some people say their LP was unsophisticated compared to the one of G&G, but Katia & Sergei had two faults in the LP. I really think M&D were robbed here :(.

Tamara Moskvina and Alexei Mishin celebrate 50 years of coaching

Congratulations to Moskvina & Mishin :cheer2:. Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze will be there? that's great! If only Mishkutenok & Dmitriev could be there... a girl can dream, right? :D

Best pairs programs of all time

I found interesting that it was Barbara Underhill who selected "Happy Valley" for them. I wonder what other B&S programs where made using music suggestions from other fellow skaters.

Best pairs programs of all time

B&S' Valse Sentimentale is a fantastic program; such a shame it was the FS during their tough 1999-2000 season (imho, their worst). I wish they had won a world championship with this program instead of the Concert of Coloratura one.
