I just traveled to Indianapolis to see Kathy Griffin's first comedy tour in 6 years and last week went to Chicago to see the Broadway tryout of "Death Becomes Her." The Ticketmaster fees were a little above 10% for both those events in different cities. I'm seeing Wanda Sykes in June in STL. Not...
Yes, I don't understand their whole "standard 20%" jargon. I've recently bought several tickets online for events in different cities and NONE of the service charges were 20% of the face value of the tickets, plus other fees on top.
Awwww, Shoma's artistry always enchanted me. He spoke about how difficult the sport has become on him physically in the past few seasons, even though that's when he peaked. I'm sure he should have a great professional career though. Audiences always love his skating.
High hopes for this!!!
Oh dear, Shawn Mendes is hawt, but this Frankie Valli cover is atrocious. (And there are good covers of this song out there, so why Shae-Lynn picked this ghastly version defies all logic.) 🤷‍♂️

Even people in the US will likely need flight connections as Wichita isn't a major hub. :respec: to you for considering flying all the was from Australia to middle America for a skating comp though.
Wichita and its suburbs have a population well over half a million people, so it's not really as remote as people would believe considering it's "flyover country" for coasters. Most exciting city I've ever visited? No, but being home to McConnell Air Force Base, I found some diversions there...
It's not a huge deal to me, but I was seriously contemplating volunteering if it was Peoria. Ironically, with the first tips I got I believed it was going to be Wichita though. Should have stuck with my gut.
I don't know. Maybe common sense prevailed that no one was going to go to Peoria, IL in January for Nationals as it's hardly the easiest destination to reach!?!?
Imagining the kooky opposition already screaming, "But her followers have declared her a Kween! America isn't an oligarchy!" Honestly surprised it didn't come up in her senate hearing for her ambassador post. :scream:
