I don't know if this has been discussed but there seems to be a change to the number of difficult variations being allowed to count as a level in spins. They are proposing that only 2 positions will be counted for level features. Wouldn't this make it much more difficult to get a level 4 spin...

Does anyone know if Skate Canada will be including solo dance in their competitions next year? Or will solo dance skaters need to travel out of country to compete?

I think it would have been way more offensive if he implied that funding her training was the reason she was with her coach. The fact that she may or may not have gotten a reduction in her coaching fees is irrevelant because it's all speculation anyway.

Someone else mentioned that formly Canadian team Batkova/Yang (now Czechia) has Alexandra and Mitch listed as their choreographer for their Free Dance. So I assume it was one of the last programs they did together. I'm sure the programs will hold a special meaning to all of them now.
