Everyone looks snazzy, but I especially love Meryl's dress and Adam's suit.

Love the pics. Seems like an awesome event. I'm happy so many established skaters support this.

OMG Ashley's dress :yikes:
When I saw this, before clicking through to the pics, I was expecting it to be see-through or something like that. I would be more likely to use that icon to describe Vera Wang - she looks downright scary. The skaters all look great. Ashley's dress is not the most attractive, but I guess she was going for a conservative, professional look.

Adam and Ashley were going for a theme I think. They're both in windowpane outfits.

TSL interviews with

Tim Goebel
Congratulations to Tim on his engagement! :)

FSiH Gala article by Nick McCarvel: http://web.icenetwork.com/news/2016/04/13/172076016
Excerpts:
After a cocktail hour downstairs, [Sharon] Cohen took to the stage on the main floor to boast of recent successes: A new academic center for the girls in Harlem; a $15,000 grant from U.S. Figure Skating; and the continued progress on a yet-to-debut pilot program in Detroit, partially led by Davis.
"We're rocking and rolling in Detroit," Cohen said. "We are working with Meryl and people in Detroit on an advisory board, and we have a rink that we have an eye on. We hope to be up within the next 12 months."
It was a new kind of appearance for Goebel, the "Quad King" and 2002 Olympic bronze medalist, as he and Thomas Luciano, his boyfriend of three years, had gotten engaged just the night before. They announced the pending nuptials on Facebook.
"I was completely caught off guard," Goebel told icenetwork. "I sort of knew that it was going to happen this year, but I thought it would be more November or December. It was so unexpected and quaint…it was just perfect."

Women’s Wear Daily online article (April 14, 2016): http://wwd.com/eye/parties/figure-skating-in-harlems-gala-for-growth-10408812/
They’re [Mary Wilson of the Supremes and Olympic gold medalist Meryl Davis] both natives of Detroit, and are pleased that the Figure Skating in Harlem after-school and summer educational program for girls ages six to 18 is expanding to their city.
...
Monday’s night benefit raised about $900,000 and drew a crowd of 300. According to officials from the organization, 100 percent of the girls who go through the program graduate high school and attend college.
