Notable: After this weekend, the U.S. has nine different ice dance teams in the Top 25 season's-best list so far. Of our teams that competed on the Grand Prix, only one is not in the top 25 (Neset/Markelov). I think we should take a moment to celebrate this--it's really quite an achievement IMO! ❤️

I remember seeing Weaver/Poje in person at 2019 4CCs and being amazed how good they were. They really were unlucky with the whole timing of their career and competitors.

A good argument against this is Max's own history. He has three consecutive pewter medals at U.S. Nationals (and there were many who wanted him higher at some of those Nationals), but until this week's IceChallenge, he was basically unable to get close to those results anywhere other than U.S...

I think this is the general idea behind the S/N support. But the actual fact of the matter is that Audrey has had quite a few jump falls since turning to pairs. And one of the reasons she switched was because of underrotation problems in singles. 🤷‍♀️ What I do find exciting about Audrey/Balazs...
