Bev is a good writer and has written many excellent articles about skating. I agree this wasn't one of her stronger efforts, necessarily.

Notable: After this weekend, the U.S. has nine different ice dance teams in the Top 25 season's-best list so far. Of our teams that competed on the Grand Prix, only one is not in the top 25 (Neset/Markelov). I think we should take a moment to celebrate this--it's really quite an achievement IMO! ❤️

I’m not sure changing the RD is realistic at this point. They’ve already had to change their FD. Which, although they’ve put a good face on it, has to have been hugely distracting, not to mention discouraging. Anthony said yesterday that they’ve put “lots and lots of hours” the past 2 weeks...

They withdrew from their other GP assignment.

I remember seeing Weaver/Poje in person at 2019 4CCs and being amazed how good they were. They really were unlucky with the whole timing of their career and competitors.
