FYI - Mexico does not observe Daylight Savings Time, so the time schedule matches up with Mountain Daylight Time for North America, UTC -06:00.

Donovan is on the ice for his warm-up group right now - the Jr man is also on the ice and skates first.

I didn't know Barbados even had a skating federation! Is Sharma the first BAR skater?

Yes. Their fed isn't even a member of the ISU yet - not sure where they are in the process - but they're been participating in some regional Latin American/Caribbean development programs. I believe Sharma actually lives & trains in Canada.

Barbados is a surprising country to want a federation. It's a tiny island in the Caribbean. They obviously are not going to be making any home grown skaters without a rink. So I'm assuming they are trying to get Barbadian skaters outside of Barbados.

But just a quick google search shows Barbados has 100,000 people living outside of Barbados for a total of 300,000 people worldwide. Cubans and Domicans, on the otherhand, with 11-12 million plus 3-4 million living outside of their country. Barbados would have a very small pool of people to pull from. Of all the Caribbean islands that would want federation, I'm surprised they are the first.
