Vasiljevs is criminally underrated on PCS IMO. I always love his programs, and it followed through to when I saw him at Skate America. Brilliant skating. There were moments of his exhibition skate where I was just blown away, too.

But one thing I notice about him is that he jumps SO high yet rotates so slow that often even some of his easier triples are underrotated. It's like his safety blanket of coming down short to help land.

Daiwei Dai borders more on the side of Han Yan than Boyang Jin thankfully, and yet what a glorious 4T+3T.

I watched this program somewhere else (Shanghai?) and was pretty impressed.

No, Dai is infinitely better on the second mark. And better than Jin there, too, but the judges won't think so.

I'm just happy Yudong looks mostly healed, and not like he's about to reopen gaping wounds every time he moves, or wahtever his injury was last season.

I think the graphics are more a host-nation experiment than the ISU, but I might be wrong. Just like how Japan did/does it for so many years now but only at their home events, even when it's NHK or Worlds.
