BASEBALL!!! My Reds had a hype video up on social media about 3 minutes after the Superbowl ended and I was ready to run through a wall for Terry Francona. I hope my guys feel the same way! Reds pitchers and catchers reported today but a good chunk of the other players are already there too. Bring on spring training!

We have our opening day tickets and our season ticket games are all set so I am beyond ready for the new MLB season!

So excited for the new season to get started. The Yankees infield is still a little iffy so hopefully they can get that figured out quickly. But I’m excited about some of the new additions.

I'm not particularly optimistic about the Nationals but I am curious about a bunch of the off season acquisitions, so I'm ready for things to get going.

I'm just hoping the Orioles can score some runs since they did exactly as I predicted and let Santander go to a division rival.

I'm enjoying watching some spring training games, and seeing some of these young guys fighting for a position on the team. It's easier to watch games that really don't mean anything!

Well, @Debbie S 's Orioles remembered how to score runs today for sure....I lost track of how many HRs they hit today in Toronto, LOL

My Reds had a 9th inning that I'd rather forget and took a loss on Opening Day, but hey, I just learned recently that the last three times before today that the Reds lost their opening day game to SF, they went on to win 90+ games that same season. Here's hoping this is just following tradition and they have a very successful season again!

I only just looked at the score now. I checked shortly after 3 during the men and saw the game was delayed so I figured it wasn't happening today(rain? snow?). Yay for an Opening Day win! Hopefully we also win our home opener on Monday!

The Orioles slaughtered the Bluejays 12-2 opening day in Toronto. Rutschman and Mullens both hit two homeruns.

I went to the Nationals 20th anniversary opening day! We eventually lost, but the starting pitching (Gore) was great.

My Phillies meet up with the Braves for their next series. Usually I face those series with trepidation, but this year....not as worried as usual. My condolences on the rough start, but they're too talented to not pull it together in the long run. (just not in the next three games please!)

Back to .500 for my Reds after a tough start.....Hunter Greene and Elly de la Cruz (along with the strong starting pitching) are giving me much better vibes than I had about a week or so ago. We are going to the game on Thursday afternoon (haven't been since Opening Day) and I'm super excited to see my guys again!

Meanwhile, my Phillies are pure suckage after a strong start. Bohm and Marsh are a combined like 1 for 50, and our bullpen is suspect. Also, Taijuan Walker has reverted to last year's pitching form after two strong starts, giving up 5 earned runs in one inning yesterday. Yikes.

The Orioles are bad. There are a few great players, but when you let your top pitchers and top RBI guy leave via free agency, what can you expect?

I know it's only April, but I'm setting myself up for a depressing season.

I was at my cousin's house for Easter today and they had the game on and I could not believe what I was seeing with all those Reds hits. That game was crazy! Glad that my guys took the series win but I hope the crazy offensive outburst today doesn't mean they won't score any more runs for the rest of this road trip, LOL
