Wow, the top two were very impressive!

I really love the spunk that Ksenia has!

And what do you say about Lia? So poised and there is a little artist in there that is developing very well. Who knows what the future will bring, but no doubt she is a very special talent.

I'm simply speechless over Lia Cho!! I've been quiet because my husband wanted me to let him know when she was skating and we were watching and marvelling over her together. She's a prodigy .... a tiny Canadian treasure and I only hope that she will be well taken care of and stay healthy. The sky truly is the limit for her. How EXCITING!!

That's just so crazy, but then I look at the senior women's line up and I see that all the age-eligible junior girls are competing in senior this year, except Reese Rose, lol.

She doesn't have CTES mins as she's never competed internationally as a junior.

I thought she had not been out as a junior yet. Which does not make much sense to me but par for the Skate Canada course it seems.

From a Skate Canada website article last season:

The year finished just as good as it started for our female athletes, with three Canadian novice skaters sweeping the podium at the Triglav Trophy in Slovenia. Lia Cho continued to dominate the women’s discipline, claiming the gold medal with a notable lead. She was followed by Ksenia Krouzkevitch of Ontario, and Sandrine Blais of Quebec who took home the silver and bronze medals respectively. It was an especially remarkable result considering that it was the skaters’ first international competition!

Who is this Ksenia? Katelyn says she's 13, so I presume she wasn't eligible for the JGP this fall, but will be next season?

I thought for sure I was watching Tara Lipinski short program from 1998 when I watched her short program
