Who had Isabeau coming out of this one with gold and Ilia with silver?
Ilia losing is definitely unexpected, but I would have said that Isabeau was the favourite going in, base on how Hae-in has been skating thus far this season.Who had Isabeau coming out of this one with gold and Ilia with silver?
Why include the 4A if they aren't going to give him the points he deserves being the only skater who has ever landed it?Ilia might have to seriously reconsider not including the 4A. He might be mad about the BV, but he still needs all the points he can get.
I still wish his PCS was down in the low 80s, because it's giving false representation of improvement when there wasn't that much between last year and this year.
This program is definitely not his Salome moment. That step sequence is supposed to be a highlight, but Ilia just cannot express the melancholy in the Succession soundtrack.Ilia might have to seriously reconsider not including the 4A. He might be mad about the BV, but he still needs all the points he can get.

So that he can potentially actually win? Is this a serious question? Why include the 4A if they aren't going to give him the points he deserves being the only skater who has ever landed it?
If I were his team, I'd add it back given the GP series is half over and they should have a good idea of the level of competition. His TES is his strength. Of course, the long term goal is the Olympics and that's when he has to reach his peak performance level.Ilia might have to seriously reconsider not including the 4A. He might be mad about the BV, but he still needs all the points he can get.

I don't think the issue was whether or not Adam should beat Ilia, but would the judges allow him to beat Ilia.I'm not sure Ilia getting silver is unexpected. I knew if Adam skated like he had been lately he was going to be very difficult for Ilia to beat. Adam has just been that good lately.
