Watching the women’s 5000m prelims - I guess Konstanze Klosterhalfen is still recovering from her injuries from last year? She was such an up and comer for Tokyo and won in this event at the 2019 Worlds in Doha.

Gidey should really consider moving to the marathon after 2024 - I think that’s she’ll be superb. Maybe Hassan too.

Donovan Brazier is still hurt and he said in the post race interview that he’s having surgery next week, so I understand his performance. But I don’t get why Hoppel or Miller couldn’t get out of prelims. You have to respect the rounds.

Sydney McLaughlin basically jogged the last 80m and still ran 52.17.

Sydney’s breaking her world record in the final on Friday. Maybe by a lot.

Shocking result in the Discus Throw, chinese girl took the gold from the big favourite Valarie Alman who could not handle the pressure of having to defend in front of her home country and ended taking the Bronze medal, very disappointed she looked.
