Adam explained his free program concept in the press conference: He is writing his diary and learns to appreciate the joys of life over the course of the program (I think) At the beginning he still feels lost and then he starts again and resets his life.

I am SO glad that Lucas is trying the 3A and quad now.
Yes, he's 17 (hope he's done with his massive growth spurt!) and learning how to incorporate both jumps in his FS. He wasn't able to land either in his 2023 Junior Worlds FS (first time trying both in the same program) and dropped to 7th overall (4th in SP, 9th in FS in Calgary). Despite not landing either cleanly today -- fell out of his 4T that was called rotated (much better attempt than in SP) and 3A< fall -- he's on the right track, IMO.

I agree. I think it's good for him to be able to try out the higher tech content without the pressure of being expected to win all the time like he would be in juniors.

I am SO glad that Lucas is trying the 3A and quad now. I do not want another Jason who can’t medal at Worlds for lack of tech content.
Broussard is way farther away from medalling at Worlds than Brown ever was, with a quad or without it.

[sorry, thought this was JGP Budapest men's thread :)]

Edited to reply to HH's comment above - Lucas has said returning to Junior Worlds is a goal this season. Jason at 17 was on the JGP and starting to win medals, like Lucas was last season.

Finally got to watch Kazuki. My gosh, he's on a whole other level this season. Elegant and flowing and beautiful. :swoon:
Well, he has always had those qualities. It's his consistency that has always been a problem.
