CAN - nice twist, excellent SBS 3s, very nice & fast lift! Good SBS combo too. They are certainly a stronger team than Smith/McPike, so I expect they'll win this segment, but this pairs spin went on way too long, lol.

Jia has been robbed of more titles in her junior career so far than all Japanese women combined in the last 10 years. How they could do this to her on home ice is beyond me.

Why did her combo spin in the long not get credit?

Mai Mihara - Lovely floating quality, despite the one fall. One of two 4Cs ex-champions here.

Lee very disappointing with two falls. Oh rats!

So it’s three Japanese & two Koreans + Ava Ziegler in final top six!

A reminder that this is the thread about the Winter Youth Olympics Games taking place in South Korea and specifically about the figure skating :D

Nice that Kaiya had a redemption skate for the long so the team could get bronze. Nice to see some nice young athletes, I especially liked Gao Shiqi was a great little skater - I will watch out for her next year. What a wonderful experience for all - what a thrill to skate in Korea where they appreciate their figure skating so much.

not sure why they would see they are youth Olympic medalists? Maybe in ten years lol
Because they just won the bronze medal at the WYOG??? Plus they were the flag bearers for the Closing Ceremony :)
