Please let it be uneventful. Like they have a new sponsor with Lululemon. Also, announcing gpf would be great.

Why ever should there be any surprises? A fifty-yard pass to Kevin Reynolds after the fact of his scores? The judges made a mistake in the scoring -- they intended for Nam to redeem himself at the Olympics for his former Worlds disaster? (He's already redeemed btw). Patrick sent the selection committee a, "I'm quitting early" note? Slipchuk decided to chuck everything and use BOW wow criteria? :dog:

Cdn fed realizes Elladj Balde not only deserved to be on the podium, he also deserves to get down in front of the world to the smooth stylings of Sam Cooke and other great music cuts? (Does Cdn Nats hand out pewter medals? :COP:)

At least give Elladj a lifetime touring membership with SOI and every other relevant ice show in the world please! :watch:

Well per Daleman’s Instagram story, Austman has been named to the team. There is a picture of Gabby with Larkyn in team jackets with the caption “we’re going to the Olympics”. So that’s one question answered :)
it could just be as Rod Black said so. He kept naming the team on nat'l tv

So the rumors were wrong: G/P won't go to 4C's. I'm glad Sales/Wamsteeker will go.

Jr. Worlds, tweeted by Jackie Wong:

Team Canada for #WorldJFigure MEN: Conrad Orzel, Joseph Phan LADIES: Aurora Cotop PAIRS: Lori-Ann Matte/Thierry Ferland, Evelyn Walsh/Trennt Michaud DANCE: Marjorie Lajoie/Zachary Lagha, Olivia McIsaac/Elliott Graham http://bit.ly/2BmKMki #CTNSC18

Stupid question: Sadovsky too old for junior worlds?
No, he was 18 by 1 July 2017. But he's been three times already, was 17th last season, and he hasn't skated juniors all year.

Nope, because Canada doesn't need to create a non-medal for non-medallists. Pewter medal is basically like handing out a participation trophy (and I personally don't consider it a medal)

Also, Elladj was wonderful, but rightfully behind Nam, because of the technical content. I'm really happy Keegan made the team (not just because I enjoy him, but also because of his wonderful sportsmanship after Elladj finished as he was stepping onto the ice), but I feel bad for Nam, since he missed the Olympics by one point, after coming second in the LP.

I know we probably won't really know until after the olympics, but any thoughts of who (from the potential retirees) will stay for worlds?
