Conti & Macii had a magical season last year, but the judges seem out of love so far, and they haven't exactly been coming out with their very best in terms of performance either.

Not the highest technical difficulty ever but all green blobs so I'm happy. There are so many nuances in this that they pay attention to.

They are great to watch! They could very easily be adding points to their program, and I expect them to by worlds. Even if the sbs 2S stays there lol. Even a single axel after the toes would go a long way.

"The Sorcerer's Apprentice" is a really fun idea for a program. I'm not sure Peng & Wang have developed the chemistry for this sort of comic performance, though.

Solid skate, though with the planned doubles they could really have used the max GOE on that second throw. We'll see how much PCS help the judges give them, they're China's only prayer of representation in a home Grand Prix Final.

Seems Peng & Wang and team plan on putting the combo with the 3toe, but they're just not there yet. They're focusing on clean skates and gelling it seems like, and so far so good?

Anyway, I love this program. Definitely one of the better one this season.

I think their PCS could have been a little higher. But they were slower than the top 2, and speed is almost never overlooked, so can’t complain too much I guess.

Really strong skate - what a great start to their competitive careers together. Certainly a team to watch as we move through the season. The throw triple loop probably had too much height, but she bent her knee, and was like 'Yup, I had this the whole time.'
