PJ is very careful when it comes to pronouncing name. I would not be surprised if she asked her how she pronounces her name? I know when I was volunteering as announcer we would ask the skaters how to pronounce the names and then we would write it down

Agreed, she's very good with names the vast majority of the time. Arena announcer and the Kay-Oh-ri is the worst, but even PJ said Kay-ori at one point tonight. Arena announcers being a bad influence here at the end of a long day of skating

Also, some names are prone to being mis-pronounced. I have one, so am familiar with that problem
