I've consolidated all the Young You info from this competition and just posted in the Korean news thread in GSD.

Thanks to @Tavi for posting a report on the Peggy Fleming Trophy in the U.S. Men's thread:
... Jason did in fact compete last night and won. Everything was clean and beautiful, and it was pretty interesting to watch how he handled the combined jet lag and altitude: he conserved energy and did just enough to win. He really strikes me as an adult now. There is a power and amplitude to his skating and jumps that really stood out among the rest of the field (it was combined men and ladies), and he seems confident in his technique. I didn’t take a vid, but I’m pretty sure zucchilles on Twitter did and said she’d post it today.

The other men who competed were Andrew Torgashev, who took silver with almost as high components as Jason, Emmanuel Savary, who skated beautifully to “Oh come oh come Emmanuel,” Tomoki Hiwatashi, and Camden Pulkinen. Andrew T is very showy, very fast, and has great skating skills. Tomoki and Camden both skated well but did not have as much impact for me as the other three guys. Andrew T fans will be happy to know that after the comp was over and people were doing the traditional end of comp showy stuff, he landed a great 4T.
Fan cams from Peggy Fleming Trophy:

Jason Brown ("Waving Through A Window" from Dear Evan Hansen): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51ZIQCSSoSg
Camden Pulkinen (debut of his "Caruso" SP, choreo. by Josh Farris): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lz-yeMnAIrA
@zucchilles tweeted the results of Peggy Fleming Trophy:
1st place: Jason Brown 120.40
2nd place: Andrew Torgashev 113.53
3rd place: Karen Chen 109.72

Tomoki Hiwatashi's second half performance (fun!):
ETA @Tavi's impressions of the ladies who skated in the Peggy Fleming Trophy (originally posted in the U.S. Ladies thread in GSD):
Just a quick note on the US ladies who competed at the Peggy Fleming Trophy last night. This is a fairly new competition held in conjunction with Broadmoor Open, with an emphasis on artistry and a combined field of men and ladies. More than half the competitors were Team USA members, so the level of skating and readiness was quite high for a June club competition. And although the rules are different than IJS (among other things, quads are not allowed), at least three of the judges were ISU international judges. The three medalists were Jason Brown, Andrew Torgashev, and Karen Chen.

Karen looks back in form and she did really well. I generally liked her program, her jumps and skating looked pretty solid, and her spiral was gorgeous!

My favorite of the ladies was Ting. She is just a gorgeous skater - lovely flow and beautiful use of her body. For those who are curious, yes she was with Tom Z, yes she was jumping, and to me her jumps looked fine. I’m not quite sure why she placed so low.

Of the other Team USA ladies, Hanna Harrell had strong jumps; she has matured since last year, but still looks a bit junior-ish in this field. Amber skated first and actually looked quite good. Courtney was okay, but her jumps were a little wonky and this competition is probably not ideal to showcase her. There was no one at the boards with her (FYI, this was true for a lot of the skaters) so the mystery of who her coach is remains. I expected Mariah to shine and probably to medal here, but her jumps weren’t as solid as they could have been and her skating overall just didn’t have a lot of impact.

I want to give a special shout out to Sonja Hilmer, who placed fifth, just ahead of Mariah. She doesn’t have the jumps to compete internationally, but her program and skating were beautiful, creative, and compelling, and I’m glad the judges recognized and rewarded her.

Alysa Liu's Senior FS to Dvorak's "New World Symphony" by Jennifer Thomas (same source as SP video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8M2tJRSueU
Jumps attempted/landed: 3A+3T, 4Lz+2T, 4Lz, 3A, 3Lz+1Eu+3S, 3Lo, 3F (heard her first 4Lz & 2nd 3A were called <; her sudden, random fall happened between her final 2 spins near the end).

@Sylvia are you doing Scoretracker this season?

One thing that stands out to me is that there is absolute no flowout or speed when she lands the jumps :(

But, it in no way hurts Med or Zag so I guess it just isn't a big deal to judges.

Sigh.. I really am a true fan of Osmond and Daleman when it comes to being impressed by jumps. Now, those suckers are jumps!

Great program choice for Jason, I'm going to enjoy watching this one develop.
@AYS this is not a new exhibition program by Jason (it does suit him wonderfully)... @Tavi, do you recall the first time Jason performed "Waving Through A Window"? Was it debuted during the 2017 Grand Prix season? He most recently skated it in his 3 SOI stops this spring as well as at the "Ice Fantasia" shows in Korea in April (ETA: check out the link posted below).

The uber fan reactions were cute. :)

That screaming was from zucchilles, the girl who recorded it! She was so thrilled to meet Jason, and is almost single handedly responsible for posting all the results and vids.

By the way, Jason has used a slightly different version of this program as his ex for awhile now. It was altered to fit the PFT program requirements. I think I like the choreo in the show version better.

ETA @Sylvia, I don’t remember but I think it was maybe the 2017 GP season? It’s been awhile, but he replaced it with the Justin Timberlake program for awhile.

Every year they have a drama with the livestream. Don’t know why Broadmoor stopped providing a paid live stream and didn’t just add Aerial Challenge and PFT, because they were professional if a tad expensive

Men's first round: https://www.facebook.com/AerialFigureSkatingChallenge/videos/2334247976651874/

ETA: Last year's Aerial Challenge live stream was provided for free by the company that offered a good quality paid stream for the Broadmoor Open & Peggy Fleming Trophy. Unfortunately that company no longer seems to exist...

Top 5 men advancing (as announced) are Pulkinen, Hiwatashi, Torgashev, Savary & Ma.

Top 5 men
  • Camden
  • Tomoki
  • Andrew
  • Emmanual
  • Jimmy

That's the order they were listed in at the end. I missed most of the scores, but I heard someone saying that Andrew and Emmanual are tied.

I believe the top 5 are the ones who move on to the next round.

Ladies Championship Round:
  • Sarah Jung landed 2 3A's
  • Noelle Rose landed a 2A
  • Alysa Liu had a really bad fall on a 4Lz (like falling flat on her body), used her re-try and landed a 4Lz and a 4Lz+2T
