Fantastic finish to WTT. If you want things done right, get a woman (or a team of them) to do it! LOL
I really enjoyed watching this competition. FUN way to end the season after all the tension and nail-biting of the GP season and Worlds. Next year is going to be a BLAST!

It's not as if Amber was perfect. She did have the one sketchy landing.

I think it's a better program though. Alysa's has a bit of a dead spot in the middle where she isn't doing much.

I was one box away in two different rows, but nope - no touching the boards or molesting the judges today.

I think it's a better program though. Alysa's has a bit of a dead spot in the middle where she isn't doing much.

Of all the words that could be applied to Alysa's program, "dead" is the very last one that comes to my mind! Of course she does a reset break, but she does things with it. She's not doing the flat-on-the-ice thing some of the guys do.

I would say emotional openness and connection is a big difference, that clearly comes through when Kaori and Alysa skate. Amber is so focused on getting through all the elements, it's exciting, but it's a huge difference.

More energy, and outward performance. She skates too much into herself. Plus she skated in the first flight, and that always hurts the PCS scores.

I love listening to Chris. His enthusiasm and positivity (not to mention his unwavering support of every single skater) has added immensely to my enjoyment of watching this entire season of skating.

I was so suprised Gubanova held it togeather through the free. Her season so unlike this competition. Karori - lots of enthusiasm, beaming smiles but she was stumbly through a lot of it. So PCS overscored. I would have put Anastasia ahead.

It takes an entirely different strategy & approach than the individual events. And given that we do have WTT every other year, plus the TE vibe at both WTT & the Olympics is a very different animal than the individual events, I think fans should start treating it as a separate discipline.
