Ilia is quickly becoming the most interesting male skater on the international scene. Between the insane tech prowess he routinely gives in his competitive skates, he's really coming into his own artistically with the variety he's shown in his exhibition programs in just the past year alone.

I said it during the Worlds gala, but it bears repeating... MiuKih are the whitest of white bread skaters & don't have a dance rhythm beat in their bodies and they should never skate to a pop Justin Timberlake dance song.

And I called the answering service & am wide awake hoping to get a call back from whomever is on-call with the property management staff about what's happening upstairs.

ETA - that was fast. Apparently, the unit is now occupied & no longer vacant. I guess they've decided to move in tonight? I dunno. Maybe they moved in yesterday or Thursday during the day while I was sleeping because of WTT, lol.

Because he & Gabi skipped the TE in 2018 & I can't see any reason he'd want to so it this time. It isn't as if he & Lolo are inexperienced Olympians.

But LoLo hasn't got an Olympic Medal.

They're definitely in the process of moving in now. I've seen a guy going in and out of the common door with boxes & furniture already & I hear them moving around upstairs.

I just found it really odd last night because I was keyed up most of yesterday due to the last day of competition & then the sad personal news I received during the late morning, so I didn't fall asleep & nap until around 5pm, but they could have certainly started moving in yesterday while I was on the phone with my mom or the mom of younger niece's best friend & I just didn't notice.

Btw, to anyone who hasn't watched the Gala, it's one of the better ones. I'm not a big Gala person as they tend to be incoherent with a lot of filler but enjoyed this one.

I agree. They actually put a lot of difficult pairs elements in that routine and the mega-watt smile on Riku's face during that lift was awesome to see. They were having a ton of fun and so was I watching them.

Yup. In total agreement again. I usually avoid galas but decided to end Easter Sunday with this one and I'm glad I did. Lots of entertaining programs. The whole WTT event was a really fun way to relax and enjoy the end of this nail biter of a season.
