Posted in this thread back on May 22nd:
Mirai Nagasu mentioned in her new Q&A (link is posted in her fan thread and in the U.S. Ladies thread) that she will keep her SP to Chopin and have a new FS choreographed by Jeff Buttle in June.
Program music mentioned in IFS' Aerial Challenge/Broadmoor Open article: https://www.ifsmagazine.com/aerial-challenge-twist/

Excerpt -- "[Nagasu] has not settled on any specific pieces of music for either program this season, but is planning on going with a more classical style for the Olympic season." (We'll just have to wait to see whether or not she is keeping her SP to Chopin's Nocturne no. 20 in C sharp minor...)

Angela Wang is keeping her last season's "Over the Rainbow" SP choreographed by Phillip Mills and her new FS is choreographed by Tanith White.

At the Broadmoor Open, Jordan Moeller skated his "Tribal Gathering" (Vanessa-Mae) SP and debuted a FS to "Clair de Lune" by Debussy. Both programs were choreographed by Rohene Ward. (Both Timothy Dolensky's & Alex Krasnozhon's program music were posted earlier in this thread.)

Courtney Hicks confirms her FS is to "Amazing Grace" -- these links were posted on June 13th:
Courtney Hicks posted on Instagram that she is keeping her 2 choreographers -- Rohene Ward (SP: https://www.instagram.com/p/BUNJcb5h0SX/ ) and Jonathan Cassar (FS: https://www.instagram.com/p/BRw9UR_B0HD/ ) - "Amazing Grace" is playing in this recent clip: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVLF3ToBKkq/

Evgenia Medvedeva

SP Nocturne n. 20 in C-Sharp Minor, Op. Posth (Joshua Bell version)

FP January stars, Max Richter-Departure (Lullaby) and Dona Nobis Pacem 2 (The Leftovers OST) (all jumps but one in 2nd half :cheer2:)

Ex music from the film "Anna Karenina"

I am not familiar with her LP music, but I love the SP music. I think Zhenya will make a great Anna Karenina. I wish she would use that music for her LP. She is a good story teller on the ice.

The music choices for the LP are all pretty good (great actually) and something Med should be comfortable with as they are not a big departure for her style wise.

^^^ "The Leftovers" is P/J's nickname here. ;) Posted here back on April 12:
There's a report from Twitter (via a Chinese news source) that Peng/Jin will have 2 new programs next season. (Originally, we heard they would be keeping their LP, but I guess that changed.)
https://twitter.com/KiaraR310/status/849933507774119940
Peng/Jin SP: Tango
Peng/Jin LP: Butterfly Lovers
Choreographer for both programs: Lori Nichol

I'm now quite excited. I still remember Lu Chen's beautiful Butterfly Lovers program from Nagano. If Peng/Jin can capture a little of that magic ... could be good!!
Re-posting from the Australian news thread:
Looks like Brendan Kerry was just in France for the choreography of his new FS: https://www.instagram.com/p/BVzx4caggSf/
I'm guessing Nikolai Morozov choreographed Kerry's new FS in Vaujany because Andrei Bagin posted the same photo with him on his Instagram and wrote "See u in Jersey!"

I like the music, but being her style and using again to Averbukh and Eteri probably I will be disappointed with the program, I hope I'm wrong.

I'm not sure how she'll mime the rapture, but it's nice music.

I bet the team will give it the "W.E." and "River Flows In You" treatment and her program will be a wholly unrelated story that Averbukh will explain to us in some interview coming up in the next few months. We should make a thread guessing what the story will be about based on what we imagine when listening to the music.

I admit I'm not a fan. But, I think she's too young for Anna. When the character meets Vronsky she is in her latte 20's and has been married for several years. I just can't see Med who is at the teenage "crush" stage playing a woman trapped between the conventions of society and an illicit passion.

 yes we all love Mirai to bits and want her to succeed this season, but come on!!! We can't delude ourselves into thinking she has a shot at an OGM against Janny, it's already bad enough with the Kaetlyn Osmond fans. (And Kaetlyn was 2nd at Worlds, like she actually competed at Worlds and was there. Plus she made the GPF and the podium at her GP's)

Mirai isn't a strong competitor and makes a ton of mistakes. To be an uber of Mirai's is to also feel like you're kind of bi-polar. She's not a dependable competitor. That doesn't mean I don't love her to bits or think she can't make it into the top 5. Mirai will not beat Medvedeva.

I'm really pleased with Evgenia's choices and think they'll suit her skating beautifully. It'll be the first time she's getting world records and I fully enjoy her music! :cheer: :kickass: Mime away averbukh :inavoid: nothing will be as bad as last year!

Lots of news and I've only been away a week. :watch:

Lori and Weaver & Poje!!!! :biggrinbo
