Moving on to Trusova... This program fits her, stylistically, but I'm going to effing hate it winning the Olympics. I'm just not a heavy metal fan so I really hate the music. But, those quads are going to be very hard to beat. And she gets a smile from Eteri.

Me too. Trankov said he'd never seen a skater with her work ethic, except for Volo. They have to make her leave the ice.

I don’t feel like I heard that as much as for Anna and aliona. I though sashas jumps were always a bit better and with hitting the bigger arsenal before puberty it makes it better than trying to learn them after.

I always remember when I was skating growing up as long as the girls hit the triples prior to puberty that was good and they would most likely be able to get them back after puberty (pre quad days)

Kamilas program felt like it had 500 jumps in it. Does that just mean the program was that empty otherwise? (Especially since she wasn’t being compared to especially great programs already)

Trusova: yes, I have wanted to skate this programme clean in front of the audience for a while, it worked in the practices, but not in front of the audience, so it's nice
Trankov: I finally saw it all with all the quads - what I saw you working so hard on every day. There should be a feeling of satisfaction, or it's just a thing?
Trusova: I skated many times clean in the test skates and then failed in the competitions. Am not satisfied with my SP and it's not yet a competition after all.
Mamun: yet the audience were out of it and so were we. You were on fire, especially compared to all the other calm and nice programmes.
Trankov: we now know the 5 quads are possible. 6?
Trusova: the 4loop I did not get it back yet, and I also have to do the 3A
Mamun: the arms up does it give an additional mark?
Trusova: previously it was because the judges thought it was harder and then everyone started doing it so... I think it's more consistent with the arms up it gives you a more clear position in the air.
Mamun: tell us about the characters - you have Frida and Cruella. Have you watched the movie?
Trusova: I watched the movie 3 times, I loved it. The last time I watched it for the costumes only, I wanted to see what was there. The music - I loved it before Gleikhengause and Tutberidze decided it would be my music - I told them I really want it.
Mamun: the costume - do you take part?
Trusova: am asked whether I like it, but I really trust Tutberidze's sense of fashion
Trankov: You never stop What is the next goal?
Trusova: first I think I have not reached my goal - I want to land it all in the competition. I tried the LP with a 3A and it didn't work but am begging the coaches letting me integrate the 3A in the LP.
Trankov: your new dog - does it feel well with the rest?
Trusova: she is the smallest but she feels the biggest.
Mamun: what is the next competition?
Trusova: On 14/9 am going to the USA to a competition. It's a competition just to try out, the next major competition is around the 2nd half of Oct the Skate America, so we decided to go and give it a try.

Same. Much as I love Kostornaia, her FS this season is absolutely awful and I can't see her beating at least two of Shcher, Trusova, Tukt, and Valieva with it. I need La Tuk in Beijing so if the sacrifice is two of Team Eteri's skaters and Kostornaia can't be one of them then I choose Shcher and Trusova.

She needs Cruella hair and a costume change for this program.

This ^^^^ - I hate the music and it's just jumping pass to jumping pass but she absolutely kills it.

Still can't believe she did that. The program is trash but I LOVE it and ITA that clean at the Olympics it could go viral. I love that she's out there hammering quads to heavy metal. Best music choice for her but for the love of God take that spiral out at the top end. Anyway Trusova's stock is UP!!! Valieva's down a little but I'm sure she'll get better as the season goes on. Enjoyed Shcherbakova's programme the most I guess but those hammer take offs are really getting worse and worse by the looks of things.
