Gorodnitsky got his 3A back together here, with that same quick entry that he's been doing for years now. I've said it in other threads but he is constantly posting the jump on IG, and it's always been the same. I wish he'd go for bigger jumps by now, seeing how he very nearly was in the top 10 at Worlds.

I also read a comment from SC where he said he was focused on the skating and took out almost all of the choreography, which certainly appeared to be the case because neither program gave anything.

This isn't so bad for him this time, though.

There's the presentation I'm used to from Gorodnitsky! Much, much better than SCI! Program doesn't seem like a complete mismatch like it did there.

LOL - oh, Chris... Grassl wasn't out last season due to injury.

Of course, he then falls on literally NOTHING.

The mens field just has so much endless talent. I keep saying it but it's crazy how far ahead the discipline is of all the others. So much quality.

Agreed. I hate to sound like a bad fan but it’s the only discipline right now that I can watch the whole way through without getting bored.

Such a shock every time he starts moving well to the music and then the jumps come and it's all just thrown out the window.

Quad loop ambitious for the short, and the jump itself lends to really curling the landing edge. Don't think it was clean but it was very close if not. And then of course he makes the 3Lutz+3Toe look extremely difficult. "Easy" my ass, Chris.

I know Grassl has always had terrible posture but this program seems to accentuate it in all the wrong ways.
Can't agree. White Crow and now this show off that he actually has some nice stretch and positions, but the jump technique is still horrible and won't ever change at this point.

I think this program has the potential to show some nice stretch and positions, but there are places where it's not quite finished. I was actually thinking of and comparing it to White Crow and feeling it comes up short. I'm open to feeling differently about it later in the season as it's more fully trained.

oh god I am not prepared for more of the tragic demise of Jason Brown's skating. But I want to see Kagiyama.

Oh, Chris... That was not "just about makes the 3a"! Sure, it was the best looking 3a he's had all season, but that thing is getting a <<. And he falls on the combo again?! We are EFFED.
