Piper Gilles / Paul Poirier: Reliable but not one of their "on fire" performances. I wished they'd saved these costumes for Worlds, but we'll see which outfits they choose for Boston.

yeah I was about to say that haha I mean this program is probably one of the better ones in terms of theme and choreography but boy does it drag
That's sums up my thoughts about it too. Very few of the RDs this season have really hit the mark in every way.

LOL - Ted, who tells us all the time on the JGP that he knows nothing about ice dance suddenly is telling us how chock full of choreography this program is. Okay, then, Ted...

Piper and Paul were great. But, my goodness, I find her constant "O" mouth distracting. I hope, if she choreographs in the future, she doesn't teach her students the O-face. But, I digress. They were very, very good today. And, of course the GIGANTIC score was expected, even if Piper acted surprised. Bless her.

the first one is a major part of the first movie opening sequence
Thanks - I only remembered Soul Bossa Nova (in part because of the girl who did the dance to it at our school talent show, and is now a woo pseudo-therapist  ).

I just love L/Lg RD :cheer:
I think for selfish reasons I hope they get the third spot just to see their programs again at Worlds. But it's a coin toss overall so I won't complain either way.
As I will be there in person, I need Alicia & Paul to be in Boston. :rollin:

Nothing against LeGacs, but I did see them live at SA in 2022.

Okay, so LajLag only scored 86.42 rather than the 87 I predicted, and GilPoir only scored 91.84 rather than the 93 I predicted. That doesn't absolve the judges of the super-sized side-eye I'm giving those scores though, lol.

No complaints here, I think F/A ( her in particular) a very very strong team. I just find LeGacs programs entertaining :D

I am going to call it as I see it and Kaitlyn favours Lane's team over IAMs team so I take it with a grain of salt.. ( although G/P still have the better RD choreographically ).
Yeah there was definitely something up there today.
