Has anyone been able to transfer their tickets to anyone else? I bought a couple for a friend and want them to have their own tickets. The transfer button is greyed out on the td garden app.

I believe an earlier email said that transferring tickets wouldn't be possible until after single session tickets go on sale in a couple weeks. I'll try to find the exact wording.

Here it is, from the 10/1 monthly update email:

"Ticket Resale and Transfer
Ticket holders will have the ability to both transfer and resell their tickets prior to the event. This feature will not be available until after single-session tickets go on sale. More detailed information about this will come in a future communication."

Ah yes I pretended to do a transfer of the Women SP and when I got to the next screen it wouldn’t let me advance any further.

I downloaded my tixs. I am reallly suprised they have the start time. I have never received the tickets this early. Usually even the month before the times are not final. I will not rely on the time on the ticket, but worry others will.

I'm guessing since they are electronic they can update the time if needed based on the number of entries or last minute withdrawals. I recently had tix for a comedy show where the time changed from 7:30 to 8 p.m. on the Ticketmaster app.

The times match up with the preliminary schedule on the website and they jive with the schedule we had in Montreal, so I feel pretty confident in those times.

Sorry if this was asked already, but can we bring stuffed toys into the rink? I would like to make a couple of special ones but need to know if I can bring them in the first place. I would probably prefer bringing them to a practice session as it would be easier to actually hand it to the skater at the end of his/her practice than it getting lost in the shuffle with the toys that the "sweepers" (I prefer the Boston pronunciation, "Sweepahs!")

I just got my volunteer acceptance email however I won't be able to do it with my new job. I'll still be at all the events just not volunteering before.
That’s too bad. One of my friends was accepted also. She’s planning to go. She thinks her husband will want to kill her, as she travels to compete, and he’s stuck at home with their daughter. The worst part is they met through skating, and their daughter never showed any interest!

I've gotten nothing so far so I'm assuming I've not been selected, womp womp
When I applied as a volunteer for 2022 Skate America, another event organized by SCOB, I initially received notice that I had not been selected. Then about one week prior to the event, I was completely surprised by an email stating that I was approved. There weren't many options left, but I somehow wound up doing ice patch with Mark Ladwig. Worlds is probably a different situation, but I'm not going to give up hope. Hopefully, we will still get selected.

This is exactly what happened for me at 2022 Skate America - patching wasn't even an initial option. Got to watch the gala and patch ice!

Is there anyone who see NO tickets in your TD Garden app even though you received the email for the confirmation of purchase before? I asked them but oh well...

Heads up that the email address for your Ticketmaster account has to be the same one that you used to purchase your tickets. I had to change that on my Ticketmaster account before linking it to the TD Garden app. (Actually the change email function on Ticketmaster wasn't working so I just created a new Ticketmaster account under the email address for my tickets.). But...I have my tickets! :cheer2:

I will be coming to volunteer!
I am not getting an all event ticket but am wondering if they have anywhere to watch if you don’t have a ticket? At 2013 Worlds in London, we didn’t have all event tickets but was able to watch in a tent outside the arena and buy drinks. It was a great people watching experience. Just checking if they had anything at the last Boston worlds.

I think that volunteers will be in section 301. You should get full details in your volunteer packet.

Thank you! This was exactly what happened to me. I gave Boston people the email address (A) which is different from the one (B) used by Ticketmaster, thinking that they only use it for communication purposes.

I can't change the email for Ticketmaster because it says that the email address (A) is already taken (actually I changed it to (B) from (A) for Ticketmaster a while ago and don't know why I can't change it back). So I had to log in with (A) by creating a new password.

Anyhow, now I ended up having 2 Ticketmaster accounts 😓
But I got the tickets for the Worlds!

ETA: I myself was confused about two emails (A and B) that I wrote here😅, so I fixed it.

It sounds like many venues are having a one-hop relationship with Ticketmaster, although the confusion and logistics around this put Ticketmaster back into the spotlight. The warnings to "Use the same email you used to purchase tickets to access them" said zero about using the same email address for the Ticketmaster account.

When I bought Seattle Mariners tickets this summer and wrote to Ticketmaster customer service, I got a full page of email instructions about how to access the tickets I thought I was buying through the team on their site.

But lest anyone misunderstand, it's not that volunteers without tickets would have carte blanche to sit in 301 whenever they want, right?
I think you are saying that the two single-session tickets that a volunteer can earn (by completing two shifts or more) will be in 301. (And I think we were told at some point that a shift will last six hours.)

Yes that’s my understanding! I plan on getting individual tickets for the remaining events but was wondering if I didn’t if there would be any tents to watch in! Seems like that was unique to worlds in London!

Is anyone having issues accessing the TD Garden app? I keep getting prompted to update the app and there is no update available. I was previously able to view my tickets.

Try again. The tech people who manage the TD Garden app posted an update this morning. If all else fails, go to the App Store or Google Play and download it again.
