Formerly Synchronized Swimming - Artistic Swimming begins in an hour. Over Peacock in the US.

Today ten countries’ teams of eight swimmers begin the first of three routines: the Technical. Tomorrow is the Free and on Wednesday is the Acrobatics (a new category at this Olympics).

As Russia is not competing, the faves are the Chinese.

Teams are today, tomorrow and Wednesday @ same time (1:30pm est).

Duets are Friday & Saturday (Tech and Free sessions). Also at 1:30pm est. Men are allowed among the Duets but it’s being reported that no team has a male competitor.

Italy's music was obnoxious AF. I'm glad I don't care enough about this sport to watch it more than once every four years otherwise I'd be annoyed beyond measure at having to hear their music more than once.

I'm not sure this is for me. The athleticism is phenomenal, but the entrances and routines are just not for me, I think.

China wows with perpetual motion, full of surprises. So fierce!!!

USA 7th but were lots of fun in MJ routine.

I don't understand how this sport does not have an overhead camera view for the replay reviews. Seems like they're missing something important with regard to how well-spaced the teams are when performing some of these moves.

This seems to be the day of successful protests, as we saw in Women’s Fl Ex gymnastics (USA’s Chiles moving up from 5th to 3rd).

After Art Swimming Tech team event, the US (originally 7th) and Japan (orig 6th) submitted protests that were accepted by the reviewers.
