I just got an email from Ion that Ilia has been added to the show. The only names listed so far are Ilia and Keegan Messing, website says more will be added. I'm guessing acrobats and other novelty acts that Ari Z works with.

Looking ahead to World Ice Skating Day on December 15, the plan from Skating Club of New York includes the traditional full exhibition at Sky Rink at Chelsea Piers at 9 am -- plus new this year (AFAIK), a reprise of the group number outdoors at Wollman Rink in Central Park at 4 pm.

We will start the day with an exhibition featuring Team USA skaters, skaters who qualified for the 2024 US Figure Skating Championships, the 2024 Eastern Sectionals and US Ice Dance & Pairs Finals along with skaters who medaled at National Showcase, National Solo Dance and ISU Adult Competitions. The exhibition will begin with a Group number with SCNY members and step outs with Team USA members. After the exhibition we will be hosting a brunch on Sunset Terrace at Sky Rink. At 4pm the Group number will be performed at Wollman Rink in Central Park where there will be a huge crowd both in the rink and on the overlook outside the rink.

Extreme Ice show (Nov. 15, 2024) in Virginia.

Ilia Malinin, Keegan Messing, Annelise Starpet & Maxium Korotcov (US junior ice dance) skated with other entertaining skaters who used rope, fire, rings and digital lighting.

Skaters who entertained the audience with different tools and techniques were interesting and got the big applause. As Kurt and Alissa said (they were the hosts), it will probably give the different types of skaters opportunities to entertain the audience, especially the general public (non die-hard skating fans).

We saw lots of back-flips - Ilia accepted Keegan's challenge that who can jump for a longer distance. lol.

I’m currently a second year Marine Biology student at UC Santa Cruz. I’ve been skating for 15 years and spent 5 years representing Team USA; my home club is the Skating Club of San Francisco.
What I love most about skating is the sense of freedom it brings and how much it has taught me about perseverance and discipline.
Besides skating, I enjoy tutoring and doing math, cooking, and drawing.
