So much for the negative press against Mirai. Hardly anyone cares anymore, if they ever did. Access sure didn't care when they invited Mirai to the Oscars!

I watched Adam and Mirai on Access tonight. They looked like they were having TOO much fun picking out their Oscar clothes! So many pretty gowns to choose from for Mirai, but I'm not sure about Adam's shirtless leather criss cross suspender outfit. I keep going back and forth on that one! I for sure didn't like the fire/flame outfit. It reminded me too much of Jerry Lee Lewis for some reason! "Great Balls of Fire" LOL! This is one Oscar's red carpet I'm going to enjoy!

The Shibs are stuck in NYC because so many flights have been cancelled due to high winds. It sounds like they won't get out of there until tomorrow. I'm sure they're besides themselves because there are probably stylists that have to help them select their Oscar looks. Alex sounded really desperate!

oh, poor Alex, but it was inevitable that there could be setbacks, their schedule has been super busy. I feel like I jinxed them when I was saying how lucky they were because just yesterday they skated on the Rockefeller center on a sunny day

I remember a couple of the celebrity tweets wishing they could be friends with Mirai and Adam! One IIRC said something like 'Is it too much to ask to be friends with Mirai Nagasu and Adam Rippon'? And another was 'My Kingdom for eating burgers on the roof with Adam and Mirai'! Now I'm sort of feeling the same! They seem to have so much fun together! Ashley is of course ('per one of Adam's IG Pics) his 'Life Partner' but Mirai is for sure one of his great besties! Speaking of Ashley - OT but I wonder how she is feeling about all of this 'Adam and Mirai' stuff? I think I'd feel just a little twinge in my heart if I were her. But what do I know?

I think on top of the Shibs worrying about missing important appointments with stylists and whatever else for the Oscars, they are probably worried about missing some media engagements they may have in L.A. tomorrow as well.

On Saturday he will head to L.A. for Oscars weekend, where he will be doing “a few things with Adam [Rippon]” and then hosting a segment on E! for the Oscars.

LOL! I'm VERY late to the party but at least one of our local cinemas is showing all the Oscar contenders this week so I'll catch up eventually! I especially want to see Gary Oldman's turn as Winston Churchill!

I meant to watch them all a month or so ago but I had a 3 week bout with the flu (everyone in my family did!) and then the Olympics happened so that backed me up some more!

Guess who ANL just ran into again this morning at coffee. Gus Kenworthy.

Saw him in line but I thought his IG stories said he is in NYC.

ANL has no shame. Never has. So of course I yell out "Gus!" He comes over and I start my diarrhea of the mouth. I mentioned I was watching his IG stories where he sat next to Adam on the flight back to the States.

He said he is in town for tonights Vanity Fair and Elton John parties. He is staying across the street from me.

SO cool to run into him like that again.
