MiuKih - 3tw - it is improved from past seasons; SBS 3t+1a+2a - well, he got it done unlike in practice! Good lift; throw 3lo - splat fall for her - she was pitched too far forward and couldn't keep off her toepick; nice pairs combo spin; SBS 3s - she did a fast 3-turn out of hers - gonna get reviewed; second lift is nice; throw 3z - swishy! Decent BIDS; now their signature lift and he's very happy because he knows they're going to win by a lot as they wind up with their choreo seq - a bit sassy to end!

Miura/Kihara: Nice twist, SBS jumps in different arenas but done decently well. Splat on throw 3 loop. Lovely pair spin. SBS 3 sal, she steps out. Have they had any new lifts in the last 3 years? Excellent throw 3 lutz. As good as the short program was, the free is still in need of a lot of work. And this music is awful for them. Someone let them work with Lori Nichol if they need a Canadian choreographer next year. She'll figure out what works for them.

Don’t like this LP as much as the SP from Miura and Kihara but it can be improved and have more effect when skated clean. Not their best outing, but they also seem to build over the season.

Rika and Ryuichi Not perfect but I LOVE them. If they deliver this programme cleanly at Worlds, they WILL be very hard to beat indeed.

Man, rough for M/K but I'm excited for the program. That music is challenging - it doesn't work to just skate alongside it, and mistakes pull from the program. But when it works, it really works! I love how the 3 jump sequence provides counterpoint to what's happening in the music at that moment. Strong ending after some struggles.

At the end of each session of practice, they announced that if your name is mispronounced come tell them. If you don’t go tell them, they can’t fix it. After listening to the practice commentary yesterday I have a feeling most skaters don’t bother to fix it. He was just laughing about the various ways. His name has been mispronounced.

I know that that woman is sitting in the kiss and cry area as part of their team and she has a role in their skating. I also know that she has abused skaters. Sorry if that upsets you, but in my opinion, that is not acceptable behavior.

I don't have a problem with Kam/O'Shea being in first overall, but they should have been second in the LP. E/M were slightly underscored and the M/B overscored, and it didn't leave the judges anywhere to go. It was like ordinals OBO judging from the days of yore.

This afternoon so far has been a wild ride y'all. Am even more sorry I'll miss the Ladies tonight (Homecoming dance chaperone) because Boitano only knows where they'll end up.
