The Carrs have some Skate Canada medal from before it was the GP, and I think you're right otherwise.

Glad to see that Emily and Spencer did much better here than at Shanghai Trophy. Among all the American teams I like them the most, and really hope they can finally forget about all their injuries and health issues.

The most interesting thing about Geinish/Chigirev is that he has been dating Medvedeva for two years now and well probably the loops.
As for the level of their Uzbekiness - as far as i know, zero connections but they have definitely been there and took part in some local events.

Also happy for Anastasia and Hektor since they seem really nice people. Yet this LP seems to be too juniorish for them now, wish they had chosen something else.

Even if I am in constant awe of Deanna (and Max is usually there too), I don't get their material and programs this year at all. Even if skated cleanly, I cannot see them finishing ahead of Germans or Japanese teams at major competitions.

I can't even see them finishing ahead of Conti/Macii either. They're fighting for 4th at Worlds. I think they can hold off Kam/O'Shea, but with Worlds in Boston, they may lose to them if they're not clean.

How come it seems quite a few examples in the last year where there aren’t flags for people who podium? Should coaches not carry one in case their students get on the podium? Or what is the story with having access to flags? And I don’t like the digital ones.

It’s there free program from last year as well just different costumes, their costumes were pastel purple/blue last year.

And last year’s short program was a short program from the year before. So I wonder if maybe funding might be an issue? Because I see them recycling their programs.

Team leaders normally are expected to handle these things but sometimes the smaller federations don’t have the money to send a dedicated TL and a judge or chaperone has to fill the role instead.
