I really enjoyed The Real Athlete Special with English sub. It's always a joy when I can understand Dai's feelings and emotions.

So glad also for the audio-book. I read elsewhere that Dai himself choose The Little Prince. Seems he is now open in trying many things besides skating in ice-shows. Wish Dai to find always new things and new challenges to fulfill his desires.

Daisuke was HUGE at Ice Legends. "Lacrimosa" was mesmerazing, powerful and emotional. Poetical in his short piece with Stéphane and he rocked the arena with "Mambo". A roar from all audience cheered him when he did the final pose.

So glad he skated at highest levels and I could witness it.

Yes, he was absolutely great at Ice Legends. Only a pity that 'Lacrimosa' was not as well filmed as at Christmas on Ice. The first part was shown from afar, and there are so many choreographic details in that part. Great for you that you could see Daisuke's performances and all of the show live. It must have been a terrific experience with that cast and all the programs that were skated there.

P.S.: I remembered that you also wrote a great review on the Ice Legends thread. Thanks once again for that.

On 11 May Dai made his debut as commentator for sport different from figure skating. He was guest "pitch commentator" during the friendly soccer game between Japanese U23 National Team and Ghana (fund rising for people affected by 14 April earthquake)

Today PIW first day in Hachinoe (Aomori Prefecture)!!!! In both shows Dai skated "Lilac Wine" with black shirt. During Opening and Finale he wore white shirt of "I'm Kissing You" (so many feelings watching that outfit after 2 years..... ). In Finale of second show he jumped 3Lz+3Lo combo and he skated as intense and passionate as ever.

Thanks Pattina for the updates. I'm happy Daisuke is working busy these days. He deserves it. I'm particularly interested in LOVE ON THE FLOOR (aside from Ice Legends which was pretty much awesome show!) I know Mai recently participated in a musical show. I like skaters get chances to participate in creative works. In Mai's case it was done by athletes from various sports. In Daisuke's case it's more professional dance-wise. So I'm really interested in this show and hope all the best for him as a kind of pioneer who challenges high level dancing together with people out of this sport.

Yes, in Tokyo from June 30th to July 9th. As far as I know, it will be broadcasted later, but I'm not sure now when.

On May 28th Daisuke attended a skating lesson and a Q/A meeting for 10 lucky winners of Glico's contest "Dancing with Daisuke Takahashi". Indeed, gymnastic is the first sport Dai liked and practiced when he was a kid. But he had to give up, because gym was too far from home. Then a new skating rink was built near home.... and Legend started

During last show (Finale) today Dai-chan landed a perfect 3A!!!! and even tried combo with 2T

Dai landed a great 3A during pratice at IL 2016 but he didn't try during show (Mambo). Of course, Dai is so amazing in his artistic expression that he can skate breathtaking programs without jumps, but I'm so happy he has back his wonderful 3A!! and he is now confident to perform it in front of audience.
