TV Ads that are most annoying

I used to find the Ozempic commercial of the past, where everyone goes 'O!'.
Their current commercial is good. It is informative, and it is not annoying to me.

@Vash01 I despise all the Liberty Mutual ads too, from the ones on the "pier" overlooking the Statue of Liberty to the emu and partner ads.

I find it impossible to believe their rates could even be competitive considering how much they even spend on advertising, or that this godawful campaign has brought in enough customers for them to extend it for years.

Fortunately I rarely see that Kars-4-Kids ad on tv, and if it does come on, it's instant "mute" on the remote control. But it played on Sirius radio during news programming ALL. THE. TIME. when I had Sirius in my car. I'd kill the volume, but even then caterwauling earworm would still be stuck in my brain.

Booking.com commercial that says Booking.yeah makes me Not use them. Couldn't they be more creative? They have been using this for Years! I was annoyed by this even when it was new. I always thought .Yeah sounded really stupid.

Sometimes it’s not the commercial per se but the fact that a string of like products is what we get ad nauseum. I get it: I’m a senior citizen with insomnia, I’m watching Murder She Wrote reruns in the dead of night, so every drug company and every insurance co is pitching their products to me. Give it a rest; it’s not effective and I tune you all out.

The guy singing the BK ads has absolutely no enthusiasm in his voice. It definitely annoys me.

I also really hate all the online gambling ads. I don't know how it is in the US, but we had basically no online gaming ads in Ontario until like 2 years ago. Now they're constant. My least favourite is Wildz, with the person singing the theme basically moaning it.

I think we're getting all of these online gambling ads because we have "Ontario only" gaming. We can't sign on to Pokerstars.com. We get redirected to Pokerstars Ontario. So instead of tourneys every few minutes with a couple of thousand of players, you get much fewer tournaments with at most, a few hundred players. There seem to be a lot of these sites and they're all brand new and competing again. They're completing OLG which has its own gaming sites and a big head start on them.

Online gambling ads are almost always directed at males - especially during college and pro football. There's Jessie, with the low cut super short shirt and Daisy Dukes shorts with the F__k me lipstick. Offering a guaranteed win. Or several years ago, the Manning Bros and Manning Dad.

All car insurance ads from the companies that promise to save you money. Yes, they do, for one year, than they jack up the rates! I really hate Allstate’s mayhem guy, dislike any Geico ad that doesn’t use the gecko, and wish everyone at Progressive (except Flo) would drive off a cliff.

My current most hated is the happy people singing about Jardience.

I agree with all of the commercials listed in this forum topic!

I especially do not like Lume, Cars for kids, and anything that has to do with bodily functions per se.

I also did not like the one with the KC Chief QB washing some women's hair and one of his team mates was shown on top of her scalp walking amongst her hair checking for dandruff.

Pepto Bismol.........when you've got nausea, heartburn indigstion........ I usually get that when I see the ad

That isn't one of his teammates - it's Troy Polamalu, who retired from the Pittsburgh Steelers and who has been making Head and Shoulders commercials for years (at least in the USA).

Every perfume commercial ever made. Ever. Or in general, any commercial where you can't figure out what the product is/commercial has nothing to do with the product.

My little brother's ex used to say she loved coming to visit here just for the local commercials. Our lawyer/ambulance chaser commercials are extra even by the standard of lawyer commercials. She squealed in delight (and slight horror) when she saw Big Freedia doing lawyer commercials.

Patrick does a lot of these types of commercials. Patrick is in State Farm, HyVee, Subway, Head and Shoulders and a bunch I can't remember. Whatever people think of him, he is a good business person. He does commercials, he owns 1/2 of the KC Royals, his wife is major owner of the KC women's pro soccer team. His wife has her own sports clothing line. He is invested in the KC community.

Patrick's hair is a trademark as is
Troy's. Patrick hair wigs/ hats are very popular KC wear.

Troy's hair has been the envy of many, many men and women for decades.

Jardience is my #1. I mute them every time they come on.

Ads with crying babies or any kid(s) acting up. As a mom of 4 kids (thankfully all in college now), and maybe because I was a stay at home mom for over 16 years, I am sick and tired of hearing that noise. It stresses me out.

I hated all the ads for Liberty insurance until I saw a baby with two women (Can you say Mama? Can you say Auntie?) The answer is always 'Liberty' by the baby. Very cute but the wrap up is not great.

I absolutely hate the toenail fungus ad, particularly the kid screaming "MOooooooooooooooM!)

I hate all the commercials about the side effects of different medications that include possible liver damage or death, a racing heart, insomnia, high blood pressure and "do not take if you're allergic to it". How do we know if we're allergic to the med if we've never taken it before?

I despised the recent Pandora commercial with Chloe x Halle. Between the song, and the way they were singing to each other, it made them seem like lovers instead of sisters.
