I also believe that the absence of Russia's huge shadow over the world of Euros has allowed all of us to see and appreciate several OES women skaters that we may not have seen so in depth. In the lead-up to Beijing, it was 3 Eteri-bots at Euros, maybe Tuk, then Louna. The rest of the Euro women were barely mentioned. Now, for example, skaters like the Ninas get much more attention. I don't think broadcasters would have gone into much detail abouth them with the presence of Russia. Refreshing!Ugh.... so sickened to see Russia - the great cheaters - back in, in any form. I`ll look at the Russia thread to read about all of it. It was such a refreshing breeze to have a couple years without this hanging over our heads.
