Incorrect.

2 spots + 1 OQE entry - USA
2 spots - GER, ITA & CAN
1 spot + 1 OQE entry - JPN, GEO, HUN, AUS, UZB

5+8 = 13 Spots awarded

1 spot - GBR, POL & NED

16 spots total

ETA - Worlds
3 spots - USA
2 spots - JPN, GER, ITA, GEO, CAN, HUN, AUS, UZB
1 spot - everyone else
Ugh, I forgot about Hocke/Kunkel.

Sorry to bother, but can the teams with 2 spots try to get a third in the qualifying event?
Only members who had two entrants but earned 2 + 1 OQE entry/3 for 2026 Worlds, ie, the US, can try to get a third in the qualifying event.

Similarly, those members who had one entrant who earned 1 + 1 OQE entry/2 for 2026 Worlds can try to get a second in the qualifying event.

Because the USFS won't be happy that they nearly shat the pot here and blew the chance at a 3rd spot in Milano-Cortina. KamOShea have to step up and start delivering consistently on their potential.
Why on earth would USFS be unhappy about a scenario that didn't happen? They should and will be delighted that the US will have 3 spots for Worlds and likely the Olympics. Did anyone see that coming? Great work K/O and E/M!

I'm really happy with the results here. I love the Japanese team. I'm kind of surprised that the Canadian team is off the podium, but I kinda love this podium. 🤷🏻‍♀️ And the American teams really pulled it off this year!

Of the only team to have 3 spots at Worlds and possibly the Olympics next year who had it being the USA? 😆
Well, apart from me?

Mind, I actually didn't think Canada would lose their 3rd spot, because I figured SDDes and PerMich would come through reasonably well.

I hoped Italy could also manage to do what the USA did, but I had less confidence in GhiAmbro than I did in the home crowd power behind EfiMit and KamOShea getting the job done.

Skate Canada inexplicably posting on Instagram a “mission accomplished” caption over “securing two spots”. Many things they could have said but losing a third Olympic spot that was easily within reach is not in any capacity mission accomplished.

I know it’s not like, the CEO or something running the IG account, but read the room a little guys.

Is the post gone? I don’t see it on their IG account?

For the Olympics, I expected Canada to keep three, the US and Italy to keep two, and for Germany to be the team that had the best chance to earn the OQE entry for a possible third. (And then promptly forgot that Hocke/Kunkel were in it :shuffle: ) I wasn't sure if Japan would be able to keep two.

It's a good thing I don't bet on horse races.

Settling in at the hotel with a glass of Pinot Noir. Pairs didn’t disappoint. Yes, there were a few bad skates and a couple of “what could have beens”, but the knowledgeable crowd really got behind the teams that did deliver. Obs, Alisa and Misha. But the cheers were just as loud for Minerva and Nikita. It was a shame they couldn’t overcome the 3 point deficit, but Riku and Ryuichi did what they had to do.

It’s a shame that Sara and Niccolo chose the music they chose. Boston is as Italian as it is Irish, and I’m sure they would have gotten more support with something more upbeat. The Georgians did their job, but it looked like a job. And O Canada. That was a mess from all 3 teams with an easy panel.
