This is the toughest event of the entire season for JPN Skaters.
When Kaori was asked by the press, which is more difficult to "threepete", Worlds or Nationals, she thought for a moment and replied, probably Nationals, since she does not have to compete with Junior skaters at the Worlds. She added that almost ten years ago, when Kaori made it to her first senior Nationals, she was all set to beat elder skaters there, so she understands the mindset of younger skaters, but now the tables are turned.
It is expected that Mao, Rinka and Hana will attempt 3A in the SP.

Miyabi Oba was amazing junior adding 3Lo as second jump to any triple.
Yuna Shiraiwa was fantastic as juniors also,"Send in the Clowns" at Barcelona JGPF is unforgettable to me.
Marin Honda, what a dissapointment after the Junior World Crown.
Maaya Ishida is new to me.
Ayumi Shibayama is one of up coming Juniors.
