Skate Canada Announces 2023 Skate Canada International Broadcast Team​

Skate Canada is pleased to announce the talented team of former high performance athletes that will bring a fresh approach to skating coverage at 2023 Skate Canada International, which will take place in Vancouver, B.C., from October 27-29, 2023.

Our live stream will welcome back Kevin Reynolds, Kaetlyn Osmond, Kirsten Moore-Towers, and Kaitlyn Weaver, along with host Ted Barton to provide us with in-depth commentary throughout the week for English viewers. French viewers will also receive top-notch coverage throughout the event as Alicia Pineault, Charlie Bilodeau, Élisabeth Paradis, and Laurence Darveau make their live stream debut.

This enhanced production aims at providing positive analysis of our sport and a supportive approach to help skaters on their individual journeys to achieve excellence. Fans can stream 2023 Skate Canada International on skatecanada.ca, CBC.ca, or CBC Gem. These will be the only places to watch this prestigious event, as there will be no network broadcast.

Kaetlyn and Kevin came prepared. Apparently Kevin is a Tech Specialist now (might just be news for me).
Just mentioning that to say it's worthwhile watching if you are interested as it's very informativve.
I am multitasking so won't be sharing what they say because it is A LOT

Reynolds has been a TS domestically for a few years now and debuted(?) as an International Data & Replay Operator at CS Autumn Classic International last month.

Video stopping and going black every few minutes for me. So, only seeing bits and pieces.

Thorngren’s combo didn’t look rotated to me on either end, and then Kevin says “one of the better ones I’ve seen her do”. Erm, ok. She can definitely do it better than that.

Yesterday when I went to go look at all the Canada tiles on Peacock, I saw ones for practice. So I have some free time tonight. I opened up Peacock and there’s no practice replay from today and looking at the tiles they have no more practice cams up at all anymore even for tomorrow?

And lastly, the France tiles are up on peacock

They never were there in the first place. Skate Canada owns the rights to livestream practices and they are showing them on their Dailymotion channel (geoblocked so a VPN is needed).
