Oh good grief. His Dad did not literally break his arm - my son broke it while they were playing together. My son said it because he thought it was funny. We joked about it too. We still do. It isn't clear to me exactly what is being alleged or admitted about the trunk or room. As for the whipping:

Except it can come off as living through your child which they are. The overexposure of this child on social media on top of the long grueling skate hours (he only gets 30 minutes of free time a day or something small like that if i recall) is unhealthy and mentally abusive.

I understand what you mean. My point is that from your son’s perspective, that’s how he describes it and any person would find it funny he says that. There is nothing funny about whipping even if it’s joking. Why would someone say that to s kid?

A 5 year old would and could not make up “being whipped and thrown in a closet” unless they were exposed to it somehow. Children that young are still learning from their environment. My 7 year old just started taking the bus to school this year with kids up to 6th grade and unfortunately he is saying bad words now when he is angry, which I am sure he is hearing on the bus, as I have no idea where else he would come up with the idea to be “funny” and call me a c*** f***. He had no idea what he was saying and thought it was a joke.

I have a degree in education and have taken graduate courses in child psychology. Little kids do repeat things that they see and hear. At five, many kids still believe in Santa Claus, monsters, ghosts, fairy tales, magic, etc., although not as strongly as they did at ages three and four. But a psychologically healthy five-year-old who is developing normally would NOT make up a story about his parents beating him with a belt and locking him in a closet. Let's say, for the sake of argument, that a kid sees something like this in a movie and it scares him. He would probably talk about it. It might come out in some form when he plays (for example, he might act out the movie scene with his stuffed animals). But he wouldn't say it happened TO HIM and that HIS PARENTS did it.

Yes, I agree. Too much media attention in his early age. YES!!!!! I hope Yana will learn something from this story.I don't know why she wanted to make an international model from Sasha. I don’t always agree with his publicity stunts like opening Plushenko Angels, that’s true - just because the way it was done is just attention-whoring.
