Might be spoilers if you haven't seen it. I always read these comments before I watch it though.

Interview with Mandy Moore about the episode is the second article.

LOL the people on Instagram threatening to stop watching if Kevin ends up with the wedding singer. Like, they do know that there are only 5 total episodes left in the whole series, right? Pretty sure the producers don't care and aren't going to change anything at this point. 🤣

Put me on Team anyone-but-Sophie.

The thing with Sophie is that I found the childhood version of Sophie bad (I could never get over the fact that she screwed over Kate to get with Kevin), and the teen versions of Sophie and Kevin were kinda dull. But I like Adult Sophie (probably because I like the actress). Yeah, I can't imagine why Sophie would ever consider getting back with Kevin, even though quite a bit of time has elapsed since their break up (ten years?), especially if Sophie is married.

Cassidy and Kevin have zero romantic chemistry. The wedding singer is a route the writers have already gone with Nicky and Kate. I don't think it will be the wedding singer.

I think the end is near for Miguel. He gets ignored by the Big Three and his own kids, but he is the only grandfather that Annie and Tess really knew (it was addressed in the season one Thanksgiving episode). I want Annie and Tess to play significant roles when we likely get that Miguel-focused episode. They can have the adult actresses there this time during the present, with “flashbacks” with the real (to me) versions of those girls.

Yup. I agree. Poor Miguel. I am going to guess he will die before Rebecca. He better not die all alone. And he will have ended up being Rebecca's husband longer than Jack was, wouldn't he? I'm not sure of the timing on this.

And ..... Miguel episode coming up in 2 weeks (May 3).

How come the Pearson Girls weren't at the wedding? I didn't see them at all, not in the background, nothing. Were they not at Kate's wedding?

Budget, maybe.

I also didn't like that the 'show' disappeared Toby's cute dog. Again, probably budget. Dogs trained for the movies aren't cheap.

Meh, some folks here are gonna be thrilled with tonight's episode but I have been meh about her for a while now so I felt very  and  by tonight's story. I just didn't buy it (and I'm the biggest romance lover out there when it's written well but this story just didn't feel that way to me and I've watched every single episode of this show so I do know the history) and now I'm more invested in everyone else at this point. I'm glad we got a resolution but I wish it had been something different. Meh.... :blah:

Add me to the "meh" crowd. But I knew it was going to be Sophie because they already alienated enough fans by breaking up Kate and Toby and forcing a new relationship in this last season with Philip, so I didn't think they'd do it with Kevin too.

Looking forward to the Miguel episode next week... finally! But I don't know if we'll get all our Miguel questions answered in one episode. And they better give him a good ending!

I don't like the Kevin and Sophie reunion and don't find it believable. Very lame choice IMO - cmon, these two are just so done.

I really prefer Kevin and Cassidy.

I love Cassidy & am happy that she's in such a good place now. But Kevin & Sophie just make sense to me. When he pulled out the valentine I just melted. I esp loved what Rebecca said about Kevin not being ready at 20 but he would be. I thought the show was very well done. Randall was his fabulous self again. Also I haven't missed one episode so I think I'm as invested as anyone could be.

BTW I'm hoping that Cassidy gets her "happily ever after" in the next few shows. After all Nicky did - early on I thought his future was hopeless.

I was not a big Sophie and Kevin fan either. Zoe was my favourite. The problematic aspects of Sophie and Kevin are obvious but it helps that Kevin corrected his life on his own, for himself. A lot of time went by. Sophie returned for Kate, not Kevin. They are now whole people. And Sophie got the big speech—it was never about Kevin choosing someone, it was about Sophie choosing him.

This episode really changed how I view them. The whole Valentine GOT ME GOOD.

Cassidy will probably not be in the Miguel episode, and Randall has been sidelined for awhile so I expect the next episode will be about him (we better, I need to see the girls again). Then I think Rebecca’s episode will be the second last episode. The writers have indicated that the finale will be more low key. Cassidy may be featured then.

Next week will probably wreck me.

Zoe didn’t want kids. Don’t know how she’s a better match for Kevin.

Cassidy and Kevin needed each other at a time in their lives but I never really saw them as life partners.

Kevin needs someone who adores him and needs him and that isn’t Cassidy.

It was always going to be Sophie.

I thought the writers made it work.

I get people think they were a mess, but I think that’s been well established by the writers.

It’s for sure predictable and yes maybe anti-climactic but I think the writing was pretty perfect for them to end up together in the end.

Agree with the above statement that Rebecca had perfect insight on the relationship.

Teen Kevin was an emerging alcoholic who could not process his emotions over the death of his father.

I’m just glad it wasn’t the wedding singer 😂.

No offence to the actress but she was kinda of an insipid character and sorry to be unkind but she’s a terrible singer.

Anyhoo wish I had more interest in the Miguel storyline, but he’s never really held much interest for me as a character. I’m very comfortable with him as a sideline character.

Having said that I also don’t get the hate for him either.

He’s had some really nice moments this season though, so I have warmed to him slightly, but not to the point of an entire episode.

Anyway I’m looking forward to the end of the series and how it all ends.

I expect tons of crying.
