Yeah, I do think Blanchett's performance was an all-timer but I personally just want to see Michelle Yeoh win.

Oh this is the best I am so happy for Michelle Yeoh. Everything Everywhere All At Once is one of the best movies I’ve ever seen and Michelle was phenomenal in it.

Cate may have deserved it in some people’s minds, but this is a huge statement for a foreign-born Asian actor winning an award for an English-language performance considering we never get nominated and are always told our heavy accents makes it sound like we can’t act.

Subjectively, it would’ve been cruel to not give it to her after all the other wins.

I guess I agree. But Tar was a performance for the ages. I’m sorry they were the same year.
