No, it’s not the spore drive, it’s the sentient computer…. That’s different from the spore drive.
Oh, well... sentient computers are impossible like time travel but if they weren't, you could totally make another one.

Except I have a vague memory they weren’t sure what happened to make the first one! I’ll have to try to look up what was going on with that part of the episode.

Wasn't it made the original timeline? Honestly, Discovery seasons 2-4 are among my least favorite Star Trek so I barely remember them.

Anyway, if they made it in the original timeline, the Federation had hundreds of years to make another one.

I thought it was after the big jump in time. I liked Discovery but it got confusing with all the changing universes and timelines.

Something about Calypso…. I have no idea what that is and I haven’t had a chance to research it.
They did a whole bunch of short stories. One was about a man who almost died but was rescued by a sentient ship. She had been left there to wait. They never explained why she was waiting. The short was more about his relationship with the ship.

The ending just ties it back to that future rescue. It still leaves a lot open to why this needed to happen. You don't really learn much about this man or if it was important for the development of the ship's sentience.

Absolutely loving Geek Girl on Netflix. I think the lead is amazing. It's a gtrat escape from the trials and tribulations of the real world.

Yeah, I know. I enjoyed watching him and Vanna on Wheel of Fortune as kid, but the last few years have been 😬. I’m actually curious as to how different the show will be with Ryan Secreast as host.
Not sure about him either. He bought/optioned the rights to a book from my best friend's daughter and basically sat on it, basically killing any potential it had.

I have to rep this one! I don't even know how to describe it, but if you like weird and heartwarming, you should give it a try.
It's billed as a comedy, but it's more of a dramedy.
There was a whole bit with figure skating on the latest episode (2.09)!

I watched Brats and found it kind of inconsistent as far as keeping my interest. The best interviews were probably Rob Lowe and Ally Sheedy. They had the best perspective of all of them. Though Andrew appeared to get a lot of new perspectives that I hope helped him achieve his goals with this. It was probably worth the exercise for him if he can see everything in a more positive light.

Finished Bridgerton! I give it a solid 8/10. The last episode was a bit rushed, and the two before I feel could have been combined. Not as much :grope: as the last two, but sweet and a most satisfactory ending. Overall, a perfectly amiable way to while away the afternoon.

I finished all six seasons of The Rookie, and I hope they go back to more of the day-to-day patrol stories in S7. There was entirely too much Monica in S6. Really love all the main characters in the show, though!

FRIEND!!! :cheer: I love that you love The Rookie too now! I think with the shortened season due to the strikes they had to condense things down a bit more than normal so hopefully with a more 'normal' season 7, they can go back to what has always worked so well for them with the patrol stories. Excited for what's to come with this show! :cheer:
