So nice to see "my Ox is broken" again. Colin is my all time favorite.

Yes, very satisfying ending. Lots of talk about the elevator at the pit stop. Makes me wonder exactly how far behind Ryan and Dusty really were.
That memory challenge was hard, but if you've done your homework and make it to the finale you know those memory challenges can be insane. If memory doesn't fail, the flag challenge from season 9 was the first one. Of course, it was also by far the easiest one and the only one that wouldn't drive me absolutely insane.

I knew when I saw Kim writing everything down all season, that this would help them in the final challenge, and make the difference. They always have these kinds of challenges, at least in the seasons I have watched. Smart of you, Kim!

I'm really happy Kim and Penn won. I was so prepared to hate them when the race began, but they became my favorite. I would've been fine with the girls winning too, they really came on in the last couple legs. When I first saw the final challenge I thought it looked so easy. I didn't realize there were so many similar answer rackets. I liked this as a final task. I liked that they gave kudos to the crew at the end too.

I think a lot of the contestants do that. There was a memory challenge final in Season 12 and Rachel and TK killed it, leading to their win. They later attributed this to Rachel's journal; she wrote in it every day and they reviewed it all on the plane to the last leg. Since then, I've seen a number of contestants talk about keeping notes.

I think they were foreshadowing though because they seemed to make a bigger deal of it than with past contestants.
Sure, and she is the first I've heard of to draw everything, which will probably be the new "Rachel's journal."

Was Kim allowed to look at her notebook while they were doing the final challenge, or did she just remember all of it from her meticulous note-taking and her memory? I don't remember if she was looking at her notebook or not and I already deleted it from my DVR.

I wonder how far behind time wise Ryan and Dusty were? Both teams were already done at the memory challenge before they even got there, right?

At least it looks like we'll get a new season since they had a casting call commercial! :cheer2: So who is going to be the FSU team! Can't be me .... I can't drive a stick, I'm terrible at directions, and I would freak out and explode over every challenge I couldn't do. Actually, that would make me perfect! Oh the drama that I could bring!

animal wrangling, yes. eating challenge, no. unless it's eating gross things. But I can't do those volume eating challenges.
