If Theil was cast as the supervillain in a movie people would walk out because the plot would be too infantile and embarrassingly over the top.

It might get its wish. Has Canada done anything beyond expressing its disappointment and view of the rules and issuing a statement that it is "considering" challenging the ISU's decision?ISU is still really hoping this will go away
They might be looking at options and consulting their lawyers, etcIt might get its wish. Has Canada done anything beyond expressing its disappointment and view of the rules and issuing a statement that it is "considering" challenging the ISU's decision?
In addition to the 2 female divers as mentioned by @danafan, there will be at least 2 boxers from North Korea in Paris, as 2 women won medals at the Asian Games last fall to qualify.North Korea isn't banned by the IOC, or the ISU, from competing internationally, but to say that anyone from North Korea is free to due anything is so ignorant that I was looking for a more specific answer to what @caseyedwards meant. I'm not sure if any North Koreans currently competing in international sports, but they had been pulled from all events during the pandemic, and no North Korean athletes participated in the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Yes probably lawyering up right about now. They might be looking at options and consulting their lawyers, etc

Little wonder Kamila had no idea what she was taking.
….
@Prancer, you're a star for posting all this!
Apparently they never heard about Linda Fratianne ordering cheesecake from room service every day at the Olympics. It is 'inherently implausible' that an athlete at this elite level would take a homemade strawberry dessert with her across Russia and eat it during a competition period.

You think it matters? And just for @caseyedwards:
140.
As to the Grandfather Explanation, RUSADA submits as follows:
a. There is no evidence from the Athlete that Mr Solovyov exists.
caseyedwards' interpretation of the meaning or importance of the statement is also irrelevant. You think it matters?![]()
I was pretty startled when I saw that, but I think it just means that the lawyers didn't provide any documentation to support his existence, just testimony from Kamila, her mother and the man himself in taped depositions.Holy Moly![]()
