Besides her midline step 3, G/P got all level 4s. From a Dostatni panel, that's massive regardless of whether it's in Canada.

Judge 2 gave Fear and Gibson higher components. Okay then. As did judge 4.

Nope, looks like he was in a tie. But it does kind of look like the woman in the video with the black dress and gold guitar strap.

If Zingas hadn’t messed up the twizzles, maybe they would be higher too. But both teams should be far above P/B. Just no comparison.

I only really started listening to music late 80s and don’t recall Eurythmics getting played then. But I eventually got a Greatest Hits CD sometime around 1995 and would listen to it on my walkman if I took the bus. Here Comes The Rain was always my favorite.

So basically might as well be 90s to me lol.

Yeah, that's not it. There was a boxiness to Paul's shirt similar to David Byrne in Talking Head's Stop Making Sense but not that oversized, of course. Plus Paul was not wearing a tie. That was a zipper or something similar.

It was in sync to the music so a fun wow moment!

Zingas has a visible (muscular) butt and thighs even in black. She reminds me too much of Samuelson, and look at what her fate was under Spilband, for whom his female dancers can't be too thin. I think IS is showing off Kolesnik until he finds a Chock substitute.

Piper was wearing something Sandy in Gease would wear in the final scene or I was getting more Flashdance vibes too.

As I said, I have impaired blurry vision, but her facial opening pose looked like she was going to bite.his nipple off.

I know technically it was great, very well performed but just didn't reach me. Neither did Chock and Bates RD.

Probably only Fear and Gibson are the only ones I've seen that I enjoyed.

At the end of the competition, Kaitlyn Weaver, on behalf of Skate Canada Productions, interviewed the Chair of the ISU Ice Dance Technical Committee (who was also the RD Referee), Shawn RETTSTATT. It was quite an interesting interview and worth watching if you get a chance.
