This has been the weirdest skating-competition matrix ever - no schedule by day, per event. No timed schedule/separation by dates. No list of officials ahead of time. Will there be a special list for today? Guess not…just continue the one list:
Today's schedule:

Senior FD - 1:40-3:05 CDT
Junior FD - 3:20-5:20 CDT
Novice FD - 5:35-6:35 CDT
Juvenile FD - 6:50-7:25 CDT
Intermediate FD - 7:25-8:00 CDT

Kowar/Schwappach – tentative in expression, nice assisted somersault lift. They looked a bit stronger in warm-up than when they competed.
It’s a pity as they’re well matched. He, particularly, seems to tense up when it counts.

Something else going on now: Intermediate Solo Combined Dance/Free Dance. I still have to get used to all of these singles/dance designations.

Do USFS publish the standings for the solo dance series? There seem to be a lot of competitions involved.

Protocols are up. Flores/Desyatov's deduction was for an extended lift. Koncius/Shchepetov's was for a fall (which makes it pretty amazing that they moved up to medal!).

Lots of extended lift deductions. Where's Skary Babs and her stop watch when you need her?

Juniors are under way, but they haven't got the total score page working yet. In the meantime, Epps/Gilman have the top scoring free dance so far, after 3 teams, with 67.94.

Wow - Peals with 80.01 in the FD - Pedersen/Chen's score is really holding up well. Shame about the issues in the RD, otherwise they'd have easily made the podium here. Peals into 2nd with 141.99 overall.

And the Mullens push the Peals in to 3rd in the FD with a score of 80.82 - overall score is 135.00 for 6th, but probably good enough to get back on the ISP and nab at least one JGP assignment!

Peal/Peal 141.99
Hauer/Starr 138.85
Lavrova/Rogers 137.79
Pedersen/Chen 135.99

And there you have it. We're off to the races. Pedersen & Chen are 2nd in the FD. The Mullens squeak out 3rd there over the Peals who finish 2 spots above Hauer & Starr. And, of course, the overall results are all different .

Who the blank knows how things will play out this season, but it was a fun start & we didn't even get to watch it!

Quite a great return to competition by last year’s “Missing Dude” Tsarevski! Seems like a great partner for Wolfkostin.

Desyatov (w. Flores) is good too, from what we saw last season. We’ll be cheering both teams this season. Team USA’s dance roster is packed beyond the obvious top 5-6.

did they consult a single person who lived in the 80s rip
Hey, Larson/Kapran's metallic fuchsia spandex is straight outta the '80s and I approve! Caleb Wein's shirt, OTOH, looks like he bought Kana Muramoto's RD dress from last season and had it remade and it is NOT '80s at all.
