and I am relieved - I like Rinka but I had to put the music on mute on replay and would do the same for all her skates this season if that indeed WAS her music.

even stumble in footwork

of course a skater as refined as her must have these kinds of nerves and then we have Jyrkinen who is the opposite in everything....

Thanks to all of you who explained why Rinka went to the judges after her skate. I was watching her out of the corner of my eye with the sound down and was VERY confused. Too bad the music went wrong. Loved that blue and gold dress on her, though.

And my heartbreaker in this flight will be Pezzetta. Heartbreaker in the next flight will be Ziegler. If we were doing thread titles for this competition, I'd have lobbied for Heartbreak Hotel. Or maybe Headcase Hotel.

Josefin still needs her SP minimum (32 TES) for 2024 Worlds - fingers crossed she will get it this season; ditto for Tzu-Han 'Anna' Ting (TPE) in the 2nd group

From thsi group Paganini (ETA that she just got it ), Dubinina and Peltonen currently lack the Worlds SP minimum as well.

I think she is a stronger skater than last year where she did not participate in big competitions
but the rivalry - or rather the competition- within the Swiss team is huge- I wonder if she will be send to Euros (3 spots?) or Worlds (2 spots?)

If you do rent-a-Russian, why not take a good one?
