Minsol - I like her SP more than her FS. Beautiful jumps today. The combo was especially nice on the music beats. Step sequence could be better/more expressive, but that's a nitpick.

Yuseong - more nice jumps. Her dress is a gorgeous teal with diamond spangles down the front and back center and around her neck like an extra wide choker. Looking up at @skatingguy's post about her music... Sia actually singing something that doesn't make me want to cover my ears? Will wonders never cease?

Another nice skate. Not quite the same quality of jumps as others - the lack of flow on the triple-triple for example.

In all fairness, these first three shouldn't be far apart if they're clean.

Rena - solid jumps. What the hell is this music cut? I'm sure we commented on it during the JGP but I must have purged it (rightly so). It's right up there in WTFery with the infamous CarPon Wicked Game dance break.

Ami - oh, that's right, same music as Kaori. Except this program fits her much better than Kaori. There is a softness to her skating that Kaori lacks (and we know I love Kaori's power skating style, lol). Hmmmmm... only a L2 on the step sequence. Not sure this will be enough for the lead.

Lovely skate. Difficult take off for the double Axel with a slight slip on the edge.

Nakai had a really tough junior nationals recently, so this is certainly an improved start compared to that, though you can tell she's not at 100% right now.

Jia - oooooo... turn out on the back end of her combo. She seems taller than I recall - growth spurt? Hey, ID Tech Committee - why can't we have a lovely waltz RD? This music is perfect! And Jia really has some nice lilting waltz movements on her step sequence.

Spinout on the combination, but still comes close to the TES lead pre-review.

Love Jia, but Nakai‘s spins in particular should have had higher GOEs than hers.
