That's how important the music was in this performance that she skated away from her final position before the music finished. A nice display of the technical proficiency, but not a memorable performance.

That was quite the skate - too bad about the loop. The quadruple toeloop was beautiful.

If we do have to live through the second coming of the Asada-Kim fan wars, then I'm prepared to batten down the hatches if we can see skating like this during 2026-230 quadrennial from Shimada, and Shin.

Both Shimada and Shin had some questionable jumps, but only Shin’s were called. Shimada’s 3A was a complete fiction. I’m kinda pissed! The PCS separation should have been bigger too.

Edit: Shimada did get two rotation calls, fine. But both of her big ticket jumps were called generously! #JiaWasRobbed again.
