And yesterday! I can’t believe she’s doing that to her hair intentionally.

Les Kovs - well, they're gonna eke out another GPdF bronze medal, but the fact that their TES is only about 2 points above a much more flawed PlaFern says it all about the quality of their own elements in general.

So glad she got rid of the leg detail from Autumn Classic. Her positions in the lifts are not great, but strategy wise they were smarter than P/F with simpler SBS jumps, and easily deserve to medal in this depleted field.

I swear the Kovalevs are the Rachel Flatt of France--serviceable placeholders. Get a lot of hate but also get the job done and fans are always shocked when they medal, even though they've medaled consistently in the past.

Conti & Macii just have a presence this season they did not have last season. They're one of the few pairs really filling the vacuum and raising their level to meet their quick rise in status.

Italians are easily the best pair here, and they still aren't amazing.

I am tres amused at his attempts to smile or make some kind of lyrical facial expression and then immediately switching back to look of sheer horror.

ConMac - I suspect they're going to have to settle for silver today with that imperfect FS. Also, they should switch the last two elements and end on the much better death spiral than the weak pairs spin.

The door is open a bit for Lia and Trennt I suppose, but they've never been in the position of having to maintain a first place after the SP, have they? That can be tough to do when you're inexperienced.
